With over 20 years of experience, Carl has had a fulfilling career in both the USA and UK. Initially focused on the finance functional area and the recruitment of Finance Directors, Carl has since broadened his experience, assisting his clients from end to end with leadership, succession and mission critical roles. He has continued to support his clients in both the US and UK whilst developing a deep understanding of international markets, recruiting leadership talent in the Middle East, Africa, India and Australasia.
Lee is a Partner and leads our professional services practice.
An Executive Search Consultant undertaking assignments in the UK and internationally, specialising in the Fee-earning segments to include Professional Services, Business Services & Management Consulting. Having developed her expertise initially as a Researcher, she has a meticulous approach which has allowed her to deliver the most complex and challenging assignments. Her clients range from large global organisations to specialist niche consultancies typically looking to up skill, develop a niche segment or drive continued growth.
Jackie Brightman is a Partner and heads BrethertonDay’s Financial Services Practice.
Jackie works extensively in the insurance markets and has covered all leadership and the ‘hard to find’ senior technical disciplines. Jackie is an extremely successful Head Hunter possessing a refreshingly creative approach to recruitment, being both traditional and innovative. Jackie is passionate about her candidates and clients, possessing the ability to understand and analyse their long-term personal goals and business requirements resulting in a successful marriage.
Melissa Bretherton is a founding Partner.
Melissa is a generalist and supports a portfolio of clients across different business segments. She has many years of experience providing coaching, mentoring and executive recruitment services for her clients predominantly in the UK. As a co-founder she has taken a lead role in developing the infrastructure of the business operations and continues to validate in line with market demands and dynamics.

Lisa has over 10 years’ experience within Global Executive Search. Specialising in Banking, Payments and FinTech, Lisa has been responsible for placing senior level candidates across all functions throughout EMEA. In the past 5 years she has also lead mandates within Retail Banking and Real Estate across Sub-Saharan Africa. She is a consumer specialist.
Lisa has a passion for all things digital, especially within the Financial Services arena. Previously, she has hosted industry dinners and round table discussions with speakers who are ‘masters’ of the digital world.

Dushyant Arya is a Partner and heads BrethertonDay in Asia.
Dushyant has a decades experience in the automotive and financial service sector. He has worked for an Indian automotive company, a start-up recruitment company and European and American auto Leasing Companies. In his last assignment Dushyant was working with GE Capital as Assistant Vice President and Regional Sales Manager focusing on the auto leasing business for the western region in India before he transitioned into Executive Search.
Dushyant is a graduate in Management from Mumbai University and has done his MBA in Marketing from ITM Navi Mumbai
Dinesha Arya is a Partner and heads BrethertonDay’s Industrial Practice.
Dinesh has over 30 years of rich experience in the manufacturing sector. He has contributed significantly to the machine tools, packaging, and toolroom industry, and pioneered the introduction of spark erosion, and CNC wirecut machines in India. His key competence lies in Marketing, Manufacturing and General Management, and his last assignment was as an interim CEO of an engineering company in Pune.He is also an Advisor to the board of a large group in India in the area of Human Resources. He has a knack of selecting the right talent in various line and staff functions from R&D, Sales, and Finance to CXO levels. In his career he has selected more than 500 professionals. He believes that functional expertise combined with the right behaviours and value-centric approach can convert into great performance.
Dinesh is a graduate in Mechanical Engineering from the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology, in Mumbai.
